What kind of insurance coverage is provided with USAHIL membership?  What kind of insurance coverage is provided with USAHIL membership?

There are two type of insurance coverage provided by USAHIL sanctioning and membership.

There is a general liability policy provided for the league itself, and a sports accident policy for all participants (players, coaches & referees). The liability policy has a limit of $1,000,000 per occurence, while the excess medical policy has a $25,000 limit that, once exhausted, has a $1,000,000 catastrophic policy which comes into effect.

The excess medical policy will also act as primary coverage for those participants without primary medical coverage (subject to a deductible).

In order for these coverages to be in effect, the league must be sanctioned by and in good-standing with USAHIL for the current registration season, and all participants must be current registered members of USAHIL.
