How does the USAHIL insurance benefit help players that have their own insurance?
For players that already have primary medical insurance coverage, the insurance coverage benefit that is provided with USAHIL membership is considered secondary or excess medical coverage, and may be used to cover those expenses not covered by the player's primary primary coverage, with a maximum benefit allowable of $25,000.
Note that this includes covering the deductible expenses that are incurred as a part of the primary coverage.
The coverage is also provided for the league's general liability policy, and therefore all league participants must be currently registered members of USAHIL.
